Travel Smart by Packing in Cubes

Whenever I can, I try to travel with a carry on bag or luggage. This is my self imposed limit and it’s the same whether I’m traveling for 2 weeks or 6 weeks abroad. Folding and rolling has been a well known method of packing for smart travelers. On my recent trip to Cuba, I packed in a carry on bag and organized everything in various packing cubes. The cubes hold everything I have folded and rolled together in place. They helped maximize my space, avoid wrinkles, breeze thru TSA and completely organize everything in my bag. Here is a brief video of how I fold and roll my clothes inside of the cubes.

Eagle Creek Medium Pack-it Folder – For Nicer Tops, Slacks, Trousers, Dresses, Skirts

Eagle Creek Pack It Cube Medium – Anything you want to fold and roll. You can fit minimum 7 tops

Eagle Creek Specter Clean Dirty Cube Packing Organizer-Small – Work out clothes, pajamas

Eagle Creek Pack-It Specter Cinch Organizer, Strobe Green– 7 pairs of Undergarments

Eagle Creek Specter Sac Packing Organizer-Medium, Brilliant Blue – 311 TSA Toiletries: Liquids, Gels, Creams, Lotions

Eagle Creek Pack-It Compression Sac Set (Md/Large) 2pc, – A game changer. So much so some people just pack into these, but they will wrinkle most shirts and pants. I use them for fleece, down jackets, anything bulky or puffy, etc….Bring one in your bag empty and it’s the best laundry bag on the market. I’ve used mine for ages they are much better than the compression bags for home use because they have nylon woven thru the plastic. This makes them flexible. No vacuum required.

Eagle Creek Pack It Specter Compression Cube Set 2pc Set – Anything you fold & roll. T Shirts, Work out clothes, base layers, shorts, trousers.

Eagle Creek Pack-It Specter Tech Structured Cube M  – Oxford Shirts, V Neck Sweater. Can be used for nicer trousers too

Eagle Creek Pack It Specter Clean Dirty Half Cube – Socks/Underwear

Eagle Creek Pack-It Specter Tech Quick Trip  – The classic dop kit for the modern travel age. I put non-liquids in here.

Eagle Creek Pack-It Specter Sac Medium – mostly liquids, toiletries, 3-1-1 liquids.
